Well well well!
It’s up!
My first You Tube video, and I need your help!
In the video, I show you around my set so you can see where we’ll be shooting, and since you will be the ones watching, I want your help to decide what colour to paint The Plantified Work surface!
I have been kind of sick- like really sick, so a bit slow on the You tube front, but it’s all coming together now!
In the intro you will see some of the AWESOME stuff I’ll be teaching you to make too..
I hope you like it!
Let me know what you think- and let’s get moving!!!
For those desperate for an Eggless Omelette, this will be one of the first videos coming out, so keep your eyes peeled, well not literally, but you know!
Chow! x

Wonderful first introductory video Katrina - your set up is brilliant; a nice homely feel without the 'clinical' look. As for the paint, call me old-fashioned (or just plain old) but I like Annie Sloan 'Pure' chalk paint which is plain white so that there's no clash against any of the colourful food I look forward to seeing. Exciting times ahead!

Katrina this amazing and you look gorgeous, Thank you so much for creating this and sharing your receipes and your journey, Will definitely subscribe, My creative ability is lacklustre but can you go one of the lighter colour for the main unit and then do the detail of the rims?

Yes, I should have mentioned I will oil the top and leave it unpainted, as food looks better on a wooden rather than painted surface!
I was wondering about doing some detail...I did a unit in a versaille french green, with cream detail and it looked great!

Love the clip, love your amazing food and think an old fashioned white would be great to show off the gorgeous colours in the food.

I am going to oil the work surface!
I should have mentioned that too, as that makes a difference!

Hmmm, I am leaning towards that Turquoise colour too I think!
The top would be oiled Oak so not too much colour showing!
You should check out two of my friends blogs too for great asian meal ideas (and more!)

Thanks Vicky!
Yes, I got that for a bargain on Amazon!
I was tossing up on Kitchenaid vs KMIX and went KMIX as the kichenaid blender I had was terrible!
And I am so glad I went for it!
I have a yellow KMIX blender which works great, thanks to its square jug that makes it blend properly, an apple green hand mixer thats a powerful tank, and their Tri Blade food processor in cherry red, which is awesome and I got them all new for a fraction of retail price by shopping around!

Love the whole set and think the colour of the bench top should be a lighter timber. Easy on the eye and great for displaying plated food on. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeves!
